Allowed User Groups

Pocket ID allows you to restrict access to OIDC Clients to specific user groups. This can be useful when you want to restrict access to certain applications to specific users.

If you create a new OIDC Client, no user groups and therefore no users are allowed to access the client.

To change the restrictions, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the OIDC Clients section in the Pocket ID admin dashboard.
2. Click on the OIDC Client you want to configure.
3. Expand the Allowed User Groups section.

Now you have two options:

• Unrestricted Access: Click the Unrestrict button to allow all users to access the client.
• Restricted Access: Select one or more user groups to restrict access to only users in those groups.
